Small Group Leader vocational Certificate (SGLC) is a vocational certificate that offers students an opportunity to complete a short-term, non-degree programme aimed at empowering small group leaders.
It is a dynamic programme that gives students a better overview of the Old and New Testaments, insight into ministry specific skills such as preaching and pastoral care, and it provides responsible answers to critical faith issues and Christian ethics.
On successful completion of SGLC, all modules earned in this certificate can be credited toward the Christian Worker Certificate (CWC) programme upon later admission to this programme.
SGLC is pay-as-you-go.
Payment is made per module upon registration of each module.
Students do not have to register for all the modules at the same time.
The cost per module is R 440.
A handling and dispatching fee for books and study material is payable if you do not collect your material from ATS. The amount will depend on how many study manuals are to be posted. Estimated R200.
Note: Vocational Certificates are self-enrichment, in-house programmes to assist those involved in ministry. There are no minimum admission requirements. They are non-registered, non-credit bearing and non-credit RPL (recognition of prior learning) may apply.
