Governance

The Management Board of the ATS is responsible for guiding the Institution to excellence in management and teaching, research, spiritual growth and social responsibility. As per the regulations of the South African Department of Education, the Management Board also consists of people not employed by the ATS. Students are also represented on the Management Board.

Every year, the financial statements, staff profile and contracts, research output, library facilities and physical facilities of the ATS are audited by the South African Department of Education. These control measures are designed to provide assurance as to the reliability of its financial statements and to safeguard, verify and maintain accountability for its assets, as well as to prevent and detect any misstatement or loss.
