You can however apply for matriculation exemption from the Matriculation Board under certain conditions.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who can apply for matriculation exemption?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If you are a <strong>South African student older than 23 years<\/strong> and <strong>did not pass your Senior Certificate<\/strong> with endorsement, or<\/li><li>If you are an <strong>International student older than 23 years<\/strong> wishing to register for first-degree studies at Auckland Park Theological Seminary then you must have your school qualifications evaluated by the South African Matriculation Board. They will then issue a certificate of exemption to those who qualify.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How long does it take to obtain a <em><strong>certificate of exemption<\/strong><\/em>?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Matriculation Board it takes 5 to 10 working days to obtain a <strong>provisional letter<\/strong> which is <strong>sufficient to get admission to Auckland Park Theological Seminary<\/strong> (subject to the applicant meeting the ATS&#8217; requirements).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The actual <strong>exemption certificate<\/strong> is issued by the Matriculation Board in approximately 6-8 weeks after receipt of all relevant and correctly certified documents as well as the requisite payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Do you qualify?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Start with the online assessment to see if you qualify: <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/mbit-application.usaf.ac.za\/assessment\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>https:\/\/mbit-application.usaf.ac.za\/assessment\/<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More information: <a href=\"https:\/\/mb.usaf.ac.za\/faqs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"https:\/\/mb.usaf.ac.za\/faqs\/ (opens in a new tab)\">https:\/\/mb.usaf.ac.za\/faqs\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A matriculation exemption (Senior Certificate with Endorsement) is a legal admission requirement for Auckland Park Theological Seminary&#8217;s Bachelor of Theology.
